Mike talks about his junior high dreams of becoming a radio personality, and the influence of jocks Steve Dahl and Robert Murphy. Dahl, along with partner Garry Meier, broke every rule and invented personality radio in the late 70s and 80s, influencing all who followed, including Howard Stern. Robert Murphy's radio show was a mixture of coolness and mischief. Both helped Mike shape his idea of what he wanted to do on his own radio show.
